Kelly Anne Johnson
Board Member
Hello! I’m Kelly Johnson, and I’m honored to serve as a board member for the LMBRD2 Association. This organization means so much to me, as it’s dedicated to supporting families, like mine, who are navigating life with a child with LMBRD2. As a parent to my amazing son Oaklen, I’ve learned the importance of advocacy, understanding, and community.
My husband Gage and I are always striving to give Oaklen the best opportunities in life, and that’s why we’re so passionate about supporting this association. Our children, Oaklen & Everly, are our driving force in everything we do. It’s because of Oaklen that I’m deeply committed to making a difference for other families facing this disorder. In addition to my role at LMBRD2, I’m an elementary art teacher, where I get to inspire creativity in my students every day.
Teaching art gives me the opportunity to connect with kids, spark their imaginations, and share the joy that comes with self-expression—something that’s also a huge part of my personal life. Outside of work, my family loves being outdoors. Whether we’re hiking, camping, or simply exploring the world around us, Gage, Everly (our 4-year-old daughter), Oaklen, and I are always on the lookout for new adventures and ways to make memories together with our larger family. We believe in the power of outdoor experiences to bring us closer and help us grow as a family.
Thank you for visiting my page and for your support of LMBRD2. Together, we can create a more inclusive, supportive world for children and families affected by LMBRD2.
